Steven Ciceron is a bi-coastal actor with many films, stage, and television roles. He is an award-winning actor who has won CV Indie Film Awards for Best Actor in an Independent Film and several Best Actor Awards, nominations, and accolades at International Film Festivals. He is best known for his starring role in the sitcom Mark’s Place as maître d’hôtel and struggling actor Blake Pennington.
Before pursuing his acting career, Ciceron performed in many theatre productions at Wagner College in New York City. However, he decided to pursue graduate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Virginia, where he became a respected Clinical Psychologist. Ciceron credits his education and practical experiences with clients for giving him valuable insights into the “human condition,” which prepared him for diverse acting roles. Now, he enjoys discovering the truth in each character and giving them depth and complexity. This process keeps him engaged as he faces new challenges with each new character he portrays.
Ciceron has appeared in over 50 TV shows, films, and theater plays. He starred in the wildly popular The Happy Hooligans comedy series. Ciceron’s other television appearances include The Americans, Orange Is the New Black, Vinyl, Blue Bloods, The Great Experiment, The Haunting, HGTV, and more.
Ciceron’s performance in the series Always Here, which is currently on Amazon Prime, is the talk of the town. He played the role of Bram, a very complex character. Ciceron has to go from being angry to happy to sad and then crying, all within a minute. He also has to juggle the allegiance to his mother, girlfriend, and sister simultaneously, and they all have conflicting personalities.

Besides working in numerous movies and TV shows, Ciceron has also done several commercials. Revisiting his experience, Ciceron explained:
“I am proud of several commercials I did, such as Doritos, Macaroni Grill, Miller High Life, Colonial Williamsburg, and Disneyland. But I think I would choose the Doritos and the Disneyland commercials mostly because Doritos was a Super Bowl commercial, and I was so pumped to perform well. I also enjoyed the Disneyland commercial, as I got to have fun and be a dad, and you could see in my eyes the love I had for the family that worked with me.”
Ciceron was born in New York to Joseph Ciceron and Renee Fagan. He grew up on Staten Island and attended Port Richmond High School, where he participated in multiple clubs and sports teams. After graduating, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business from Wagner College. Later Ciceron pursued a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Virginia before completing an MBA in Finance from Temple University.
